Creating a Poppy Painting - A work in progress

I would like to show you how to create a painting from the initial composition sketch to the finished Acrylic painting on canvas. I work in block colour, thinking constantly about complimentary colour arrangement, trying to bring the subject of the painting to life. I outline the subject matter so it reads as individual parts to the composition.
